A booking and payments platform I built and still run for a transportation business with a 1.7M-follower audience. Customers book and pay online through Stripe, and the owner manages every reservation from an admin dashboard instead of a phone.
What I shipped
- Replaced a DM-and-phone booking process with a self-serve flow that takes payment at the time of booking, so the business stops chasing no-shows.
- Built the Stripe integration end to end, including webhook handling so a reservation is only confirmed once payment actually settles.

A year-long capstone that became a real market insights platform: a live prediction model and simulation engine, portfolio and sector analysis, SEC risk extraction, and news sentiment. Judged first overall out of more than fifty projects at Sheridan's 2026 showcase, graded 97/100. The team kept going after graduation and is still building on it. I own the API gateway and the security work behind it.

Built solo in one weekend
Photograph your questionable cooking and a pretentious French critic reviews it out loud, then hands you three recipes to redeem yourself. A multimodal pipeline wrapped in a brutalist newspaper interface.

The site for a boutique patisserie on Spadina in Toronto. I built it before the shop opened and still maintain it now that it has. Mobile-first, because nearly everyone finds a dessert shop on a phone.

About
Full bioI'm Muhammed Cengiz, a full-stack developer in the Greater Toronto Area. I graduated from Sheridan College in August 2026 with a diploma in Software Development and Network Engineering, where my capstone team's product was ranked first out of more than fifty projects at the year-end showcase.
Most of what I know came from shipping things people actually use. I built and still maintain a booking and payments platform for a transportation business with a 1.7M-follower audience, where real customers pay through Stripe every week. I designed and launched Bloom, a cloud-synced planner with Google sign-in and offline support. I also built a site for a local patisserie that needed a first real web presence.
The work I like most is owning a feature from the database up: designing the schema, writing the API, building the interface, and getting it deployed without drama. My networking and security coursework means I understand the layer underneath the app, which helps when something breaks in production at an inconvenient hour.
